He has been writing on art & culture for two decades now. Currently Deputy Editor with Indo-Asian News Service (IANS), where he covers culture across the country, Sukant’s essay, ‘Papa, Elsewhere’ was part of the anthology ‘A Book of Light’, published by Speaking Tiger. His translations have appeared in journals like ‘Indian Literature’. His translations of Swadesh Deepak’s short stories were recently published by ‘Speaking Tiger’.
