I have high hopes for Elsewhere Foundation -- a platform open to multiple arts and their confluence. Throughout the world, diverse art forms are coming together and strictly defined ones do not really exist anymore. We must get over binaries. It is extremely important that audiences of a particular region are exposed to art forms belonging to other ones. Cross-fertilization is always a great idea.

In contemporary times, it makes a lot of sense to have spaces where one can express outside defined forms. Also, a gypsy art foundation that comes from a personal space is exciting. There needs to be a certain kind of melange of artists from different backgrounds -- painters should collaborate with filmmakers, and classical singers should meet contemporary dancers... If this platform can bring together diverse genres and different worlds together, it will definitely make some difference.
