Sukant has been writing on art and culture for two decades. Now Deputy Editor at Indo-Asian News Service (IANS), where he covers culture across the country, he is also the author of the essay Papa, Elsewhere, part of the anthology A Book of Light (Speaking Tiger). His translations have appeared in journals such as Indian Literature, and his translations of Swadesh Deepak’s short stories were recently published by Speaking Tiger.
