Elsewhere Urban Folk - The Tapi Project

Monsoon and music keep old company. To welcome the season of beginnings-again, Elsewhere brought The Tapi Project to Chandigarh on July 24, 2024 — an evening best described as singular. The band has been making its restless, border-crossing sound since 2014, and takes its name from the Tapi, the river that runs through Gujarat, the home state of founder Yogendra Saniyawala. With him: Swati Minaxi, Gaurav Kapadia and Biju Nambiar — four musicians who are the whole heart of the thing.
